Wow, has it really been 2 months since I updated. I thank everyone for their concerns! I've just been kind of MIA for a while...guess I've been too embarrassed to show myself.

I've been losing & gaining the same 3ish lbs since I last updated. These are my current stats:

Weigh-In: 256.2
Change: +0.6 from last week
BMI: 42.6
Total lbs lost: -28.8
To goal: 11.2

I haven't been doing well at all. But today is monday & time for recommittment.

A few things have changed since I last posted...I got a new job about a month ago. It's not full-time, but I make more money on the hour & it's in the town I live in. I no longer have a 20-30 minute commute there & back. With gas prices the way they are (2.80s here in Indiana) I'll be making just as much if not more without having to fill our gas tank as often!!

I'll be finished with my other job on the 24th & until then I'll be working 2 jobs.

Also, I have decided to stop the fertility medications. It was making me crazy -- poor, poor Hubby! We did 3 rounds of the meds & it wasn't working because I wasn't O'ing. So no O = no baby = crazy Emzi. I was paying all this money to drs and on medicine when what I really needed to do was listen to God.

I prayed about it & I felt as though God was telling me that it was time to take a break. So, that's what we're doing...taking a break from all the drs & meds. We're not preventing pregnancy, but not trying to induce it with meds either. We're just waiting on God to tell us what to do next!

I weighed in last week, but I didn't update. Just so you know, I had a gain of 2lb last week & I wasn't happy about that. Depressed really...

Well, this week I had success. I lost the 2lb that I gained last week & 3.6 more! A total weekly loss of 5.6lb & I am so incredibly happy about that!

I haven't been struggling w/ cravings for sugar & carbs. Although, I have eaten them, but it wasn't out of craving them. I could have not eaten the carbs, but I ate them. I don't know how to explain it.

I started off strong last week, but by Wednesday I was slipping. I'm really surprised that I actually had a loss this week. I didn't eat horribly, but there's definitely room for improvement.

Wednesday morning I weighed in at 256.2 for the low of the week.

Oh my, holding Eli just made me want a baby 100 times more. Hubby and I are working on having a baby & I'm on fertility medication, but it's just taking a lot longer than I thought it would...Not about the meds necessarily, but just for me.

Here's a run down of today's totals:

Calories: 1605
Fat: 100 (Wow! That's a lot...Don't you think??)
Carbs: 31
Fiber: 9 (I should probably eat more fiber huh?)
Protein: 137
Net Carbs: 22

I agree w/ ya Lady Atkins and Cindy! My cals were really low yesterday but today looks to be better, but I'm thinking a little bit too high...maybe? Is there really a happy medium w/ calories and low carb? Seems to me that I'm either too high or too low.

I did really well today & I am proud. Two flawless days down & hopefully a whole bunch more to come! :)

I used Sparkpeople.com today to record my food. I was surprised to find that I ate 31 carbs just by "watching my carbs." Here are today's food intake stats:

Calories: 1000
Carbs: 31
Fiber: 7
Net Carbs: 24

How would you say I did? What do your daily intake stats look like?
Weigh-In: 259.6
Change: +0.2
BMI: no change
Change: n/a
Total lbs lost: 25.4
To goal: 14.6

Small gain this week -- 0.2 lb but I can live with that. AF was here this week & I'm pretty sure that's what contributed to the tiny gain this week as well as last week.

I bought some LC bread for this week, but I'm going to limit myself to 4 pieces for the whole week. That's only 20 NC extra to spread out for the week.

For all of you LC'er out there --- How many carbs do you limit yourself per day? I'm thinking about limiting myself 30 NC. Oh, and do you guys do the net carbs or just strictly carbs?

I really need to start using Sparkpeople.com again & track my food. I think that will help w/ my carb intake. Today is the beginning of a new week...and the beginning to being more strict on myself!

Oh, it definitely was "that time of month" -- explanation for the gain I suppose.

LC is going good. I'm going to try and limit my intake of LC bread. While it's LC I still end up eating 10 NC per sandwich. Yeah, LC = yummy, but still not all that great for the weight loss.

Lady Atkins had a great idea...I think I will follow & keep the loaf of bread in the freezer and only allow myself a few slices per week. Great idea!! :)

I've been craving chicken. It's wierd...I think I'll have chicken for lunch tomorrow & maybe some green beans (oh, how I love green beans!). Although, I had a bad experience w/ green beans the last time I ate them so I'm sort of apprehensive.

Let me explain...I love green beans & probably always will. I eat them a lot & they're pretty much my favorite veggie! Well, a couple of weeks ago I made myself some for lunch. They were the frozen kind & I had already had some out of the bag before and they had tasted fine. But the last time I made them...EW! I just couldn't eat them because they tasted sweetly-rotten. It was wierd...they had a slightly sweet and rotten flavor. I had to throw them out & I was sad. :'(

That's my green bean story. I know you enjoyed that.

I'm going back to the dr tomorrow. Going in for a Clomid check. Yes, Hubba-Loo and I are still trying to conceive. I was on my first round of Clomid last month, but it obviously didn't result in pregnancy. We're going to give it a-go again this month (and probably the following month and the following and the following)...LOL! I'm praying for a BFP this month!

Good news! Good news! I got news from my Mom tonight that my SIL is dialated 2 cm as of this afternoon at her doctors appointment! So, my nephew, Elijah, should be here within the next few days! I am so stinkin' excited! :) :) :) :) I'll definitely be posting pictures!! Be prepared!
