Day #28/Weigh-in #4
Well, it's Monday and you know what that means...Yes, it's weigh-in day. This morning, I weighed in at: 275.4 pounds. I gained 1 lb this past week. It's my fault...I definitly didn't watch what I ate like I should have. I deserved a gain. Here's to hoping for a better week this week. :)

I'll admit to it. I've been eating like crap the past couple of days. You know...a little here and a lot there. I had Red Baron Frozen Pizza last night...Thin Crust...Three Meat...And, it was scrumptious!

Today has started off well. Lunch was a Michelina's Lean Gourmet Roasted Turkey w/ Vegetables. Probably way too much sodium, but at 130 calories and only 2 points. I figured it was worth it.

I had a sort of binge today...

The Hub and I went grocery shopping today. I was craving garlic bread, so we picked some up to go with dinner. I would say dinner was healthy...Pork Chops on the George, baked potato and breadsticks. Well, I suppose it would have been healthier if I would have only eaten ONE (1) breadstick, but instead I had....wait for it....FOUR (4)! Four freaking breadsticks...*sigh* Barf.

Oh yes, and I also had a package of Hershey's Kissables. Chomp, chomp. One of those impulse things in the checkout line & they also happen to be one of my absolute fave's.

I definately wasn't in complete control today. Check the totals out...

Gag me with a whole place setting. A whopping one thousand-nine hundred & thirty calories and a ginormous 40 points. Makes me sick just thinking about it. Well, there went the 3 lbs I lost last week...

It especially stinks because I've been eating less than 1000 cals a day. I know it's not good to go below like 1200, but I just can't make myself eat. I am so self-conscious of the number of calories I injest that when I think about it I don't want to eat. So, a jump of almost 1000 calories in one day is a bit depressing. Ok, a lot depressing...

Stepped on the scale this morning & it read: 276.6! Finally below the 277 mark -- not by much, but under nonetheless! It seemed like I was at 277 for too long!

I have only eaten lunch today, but I am going to go ahead and log my lunch and then what will most likely be the probable dinner...

I tried a great new recipe this afternoon for my lunch. It's a Tuna Patty & it's scrumptious! Here's the recipe if anyone is interested...

Tuna Patty
  • 1/2 can light tuna, in water
  • 5 saltines
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • season to taste
Mix all ingredients together. Spray skillet w/ non-stick spray. "Fry" patty in skillet until golden brown on one side. Turn and do the same to the other. Serve w/ ketchup or homemake tartar sauce (1 tbsp light mayo, 1 tsp pickle relish, 1/2 tsp fresh diced onion).

YUH-UM! It added up to be 198 calories/ 4 pts! I didn't have to eat anything w/ it either. It was super filling! I will definately eat this again!

Hey there! Hope everyone had a fantastic day! :) Ok day here! Work went well & got fairly decent tips for being slow. We don't "work" for tips, but wait...Yes, we do! Anywhoo...

A quick rundown of today's totals:
Breakfast: 217 cal/ 4pts
Lunch: 425 cal/ 10 pts
Dinner: 250 cal/ 5 pts
Snacks: 275 cal/ 5 pts
Totals: 1167 cal/ 24 pts

I suppose that's right close to my target area. Don't know...

Dinner was awesome. I totally had a the Roasted Chicken Marsala (by Healthy Choice). It was so scrumptious! *mouth watering* lol Meijer had the HC dinners 1/2 off this week so the Hubby and I picked up quite a few. I'll eat them occasionally, but Hubby loves them. Plus, he can take them to work w/ him and won't have to eat out! I'd much rather have him eat a HC dinner rather than a Hungry Man. We're looking at 300ish cals for HC and Hubby's fave dinner at probably 1200+ cals! What a big difference!

New Layout
As you can tell, I've gotten a new layout. I found the layout at Elementopia.com if anyone is interested. They have some pretty neat layouts.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I have been feeling a bit under-the-weather. I am not sick by any means, but I have been in a lot of pain due to cramping. I have spent a lot of time in a hot bath and also in front of the tv on the couch. Popping quite a few ibuprofen, too. Yum.

Also, Fitday hasn't been working right. It was down and out. Maybe for maintenance. I don't know...

Hubby and I went out to eat today. We ended up going to Bob Evans and it was yummy. Sad thing is...I figured out that my whole meal ended up being around 1231 calories and 26 points! Yikes! And I had the GRILLED chicken breast too! *sigh* I love eating out, but hate it for that reason right there. My meal was almost 1300 calories and that's my whole daily intake! BAH!

So, after that fiasco I decided to eat lite. So what do I do? I eat a turkey sandwich. 2 slices whole wheat bread, 2 thin slices of turkey, 1 slice of american cheese, pickles and mustard. Yum. Scarf. Gone. *depressed*

Well, I really need to head to bed. It's way late and I gotta be to work in about 12 hours. Oh, joy. <3Em

Weigh-in #1 of new diet.
Well, today is day #6 and it's also weigh-in day. I know that I started on Tuesday of last week, but I want to weigh-in on Monday's so, I'm weighing one day early. So, I weighed in at 277.4 this morning. That's a loss of 3.2 pounds. I'm .2 lbs up from the other day, but that's ok. I've been feeling kinda crampy and bloated the last 2 days. :( But, I guess you'll have that.

Saturday was sort of a bad eating day. I ate very well for breakfast/lunch, but then dinner came around. I was over at my Mom's house spending a little time w/ my sister Amy because had to leave for school the next day. So, in a goodbye celebration we made my Mom's homemade Shrimp Alfredo. OMG! It was so good! Yum. And then...We went for icecream. We went to DQ and I had a small Butterfinger Blizzard. So, that was a lot of calories and junk that I didn't need. But that was the first time all week that I had eaten like that. :( I'll get over it. That's probably where the .2 lbs came from! lol Don't know.

Sunday was a great day! Ate on the diet plan and everything went smoothly. Yesterday's totals were: 757 calories and 16 points. Woot!

Good day.
Well here I am. Day #4 and not a single food binge! Whew. I am so glad that I haven't had problems w/ that this week. I have a bad problem w/ bingeing. But then again, don't we all? *sigh*

Today's intake:
Breakfast: 500 cals/12 pts
Lunch: 408 cals/ 9 pts
Dinner: 77 cals/ 2 pts
Snack: 90 cals/ 1 pt
Totals: 1073 cals/ 23 pts

Not too shabby. Although, I've been eating between 1000-1100 the last 3 days. Is this a bad thing? Sometimes I am so stupid when it comes to this stuff!!! lol I don't think I'm eating all that bad. I know I am definately eating healthier than I was before, but sometimes I just don't know. I am so unsure of myself.

Took a peek at the scale this morning. It screamed, "YOU WEIGH 277.2 POUNDS!" Ok, so the scale didn't actually talk to me! lol But this does mean that I am down 3.4 pounds from when I weighed myself on Tuesday. YAY! :) Most of it is probably water, but hey, I'll take it! Definately!

Well, I really must get to bed. I just got home from work about 45 minutes ago and then I have to be back into work at 8.15a! Bah! It's going to be a long, tired day tomorrow! But, I get to spend the day w/ my sister, so that will be fun! Gotta make the most of it though -- she's going back to college Sunday! :( She won't be home again until March for Spring Break! *tear* Super bummed about that, but I think we'll survive.

Another day out the window!
Today is day #3 and it's just about an hour until midnight. So, it's almost a new day.

The diet has been going very well! I am so a happy and I feel great! Other than being tired (and that was my fault. I couldn't sleep last night. Didn't go to bed until 3a & got up at 9a *sigh* ZZZ!) today was a great day!

Thank-you Shannin for the suggestion about Nutridiary.com. :) It looks nifty and I will definately check it out when I have a few more minutes to spare!

I haven't really been hungry today. I am only at 781 calories/16 pts for the day! I am having trouble making myself eat. So far I have only eaten my breakfast(11a) and late-late lunch(7.30p)...I have yet to eat dinner. I am scheduled to eat a baked potato and 2 cups of veggies for dinner, but I just don't think that I can eat it. So yeah, I don't know what's going on. Maybe tomorrow will be a different day...

  • 1 piece of bread w/ no cal butter spray.
  • 1/2 can mixed fruit (not to exceed 150 cals).

    • baked potato w/ no cal butter spray & GrillMates Chicken Seasoning. I don't know why, but I love that stuff on my baked potatoes! Yuh-um!

    Well, today is day #2. I have done very well today and I am super please with myself! :) I know that sounds conceited, but I really am proud. And I know that you're not suppose to be proud, but... Ok, we'll just leave it at that! Hehe

    Today's intake:

    Lunch: 416 cals/9 pts
    Dinner: 330 cals/6 pts
    Snacks: 180 cals/3 pts
    Drinks: 0 cals/0 pts (water & White Grape Diet Rite)

    I am sort of following the diet plan featured here, but have put my own twist on it. So, I guess you could say that I am following the diet plan while doing my own sort of WW. No, I haven't gone to any meetings and no, I am not a WW member, but I am however counting my own points according to the WW calculator.

    For anyone who is interested, I have now made my Fitday public. You can view it here or click the link over on the sidebar, as I have added a link. I will try an update everyday, but as some of you may know I may get busy and not have the time to update it. Although, if I don't update on Fitday that doesn't mean that I am not keeping track of my intake w/ a pen and paper. Because, believe me...I do keep track. I have a habit of writing everything down, making lists and then remaking them. It's kind of compulsive. *sigh* I'm wierd. I know.

    I have a question. Can anyone tell me if there is a good website or program that I can go to/get to create charts and graphs of my weight loss? I would like to start charting my weight loss. I have yet to find anything that will work. Possibly I am looking in the wrong places. lol So, thanks to anyone who can give a little insight! :) Yall are such great pals!

    Starting Over Again.
    The Hubby and I are trying out a new diet. Once again, I do not know if this will actually work or not, but it's worth a try.

    Since this is a restart of a diet (that I'm always restarting and always failing at!) I weighed in this morning. I am now topping the scales at 280.6 pounds. I have definately gained 1.8 pounds since last Monday. Blame it on the Holiday's, blame it on the food...I'll blame it on myself for my carelessness!

    Here's a rundown of today's food:

    Breakfast = 240 calories or 4 WW Points
    Lunch = 400 calories or 9 WW Points
    • 2 cups Harvest Blend Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup = 180 calories or 4 WW Points
    • 10 Saltine Crackers = 120 calories or 3 WW Points
    • 2/3 cup frozen corn = 100 calories or 2 WW Points
    • White Grape Diet Rite
    Dinner = 425 calories or 8 WW Points
    • Chicken Breast = 220 calories or 5 WW Points
    • 1 slice Home Pride Whole Wheat Bread = 60 calories or 1 WW Point
    • 8oz. Baked Potato = 145 calories or 2 WW Points
    • Diet Rite Cola
    Snacks = 280 calories or 5 WW Points
    • Homemade Berry Medley Smoothie = 100 calories or 2 WW Points

    As you can tell, I decided to tally up how many points I would have used if I were on weight watchers. I read somewhere that I should be eating around 30 points a day. I don't know why the sudden interest, but I am glad that I didn't eat, oh say, 150 points! Wow, that would be a lot of calories! It makes me sick just to think about it!

    Also, you will be happy to know that I have not cheated at all! :) I am so happy! Although, I haven't really felt hungry today. I ate "breakfast" (Hubby and I both work 2nd's so we're up till early morning and get up in the afternoon) around 3p, had a snack at 5p, lunch at 7p, smoothie at 9p, dinner at 11p and I just finished my last snack (that deliecious Gala Apple!) a few minutes ago. So, it seems to me that we ate about every 2 hours. I have been satisfied all day.

    So, fellow dieters. Day #1 is out the door. Cheers to Day #2! :)

    First Post for 2006!
    Happy New Year!

    I hope that everyone is having/had a fantastic New Years Eve celebration! I spent the day/evening over at my Mom's house. We had lots of fun -- played cards, watched Shaun of the Dead, started a puzzle. lol Sounds great, no? :)

    What will 2006 bring for this year? I hope it's only the best of the best for everyone!
