Day #56/Weigh-In #8
It's week #8 and approximately 2 months since I started this new lifestyle. This morning I weighed in at 272.2 pounds. I am down 0.6 pounds since last week. Another small loss, but I'll take it as well. :) As of today, 2 months into my healthier eating, I am down 12.8 pounds.

I hope that this week will prove to be exceedingly productive in the weight loss catagory. My working hours have changed so I think I'm going to take up walking at the local mall. One lap is a mile or something. Maybe I'll go in there and walk a mile or two each night. I dunno, I'll figure it out.

Day #51
I have a habit of weighing myself every day or every other day...

This morning I stepped on the scale like usual and found that I am down another 0.6 lb!

This is going to be a fantastic diet week! I can tell already! :)

Day #49/Weigh-In #7
Well, here I am. Another week down. And, today is weigh-in day...I'm weighing in at: 272.8! That's 0.4 pound down from last week! It's not much, but I'll take it! I'll take anything these days!!!!

I really need to update more often. These past few weeks I haven't had hardly anytime to myself. It's pathetic...But, I'm surviving.

Day #42/Weigh-In #6
Weigh-in day! Today's weigh-in: 273.2! I'm down 3.2 pounds from last! This is great! I totally watched what I ate & it paid off big time. I was even on my period last week...it just stopped Saturday!

I've just got to stop gaining and losing the same few pounds. Once I'm over that hump, there'll be no stopping me then! Muahahahahah! LOL

Day #35/ Weigh-in #5
Today is weigh-in day. This morning I weighed in at 276.4 so that means I am up 1 pound from last. That's a 2 pound gain in the last 2 weeks. Oops. Well, I'd say that the fact that I'm on my cycle right now has contributed to my gain this week. It should go away as soon as my cycle is over or at least I hope it will! lol

I did a lot better at watching what I ate this week. I was hoping for a loss, but a one pound gain is better than 4. I am not proud of it, but I will not beat myself up over it either.

B-190 cals/ 3 pts
L-130 cals/ 3 pts
D-295 cals/ 6 pts
S-660 cals/ 10 pts
Totals: 1275 cals/ 22 pts

Ranges:
Cals 1470-1820 (1275) - tad under. Allows room for another snack tonight!
Fat 33-71 (12) - under, but that's ok. Low-fat is good w/ me!
Carbs 165-296 (294) - whoa!
Prot. 37-159 (53) - looks good!

Day #33
This morning I decided to go ahead and make myself a menu for the day. This is what I came up with.

B-2 medim bananas 217 cals/ 4 pts
L-1/2 cup cottage cheese 81 cals/ 2 pts
D-salad & 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce - 245 cals/ 7 pts
S-I will reward myself at work tonight by making myself a fruit smoothie! 470 cals/ 9 pts
Totals: 1013 cals/ 22 pts

If for some reason I decide not to have a smoothie, then my total intake will only be 493 cals/ 12 pts! I guess at this point I'm still debating on the smoothie. It's a lot of calories.

I've been toying around with SparkPeople.com lately. It's an awesome program & it's free! So, Spark has shown me how much of what I should be intaking each day. Here is the low-down on that. I will put in my actual daily intake in parenthesis.

Suggested Intake:
Calories: 1470-1820 (1013) - under
Carbs: 165-296 (198) - within budget
Fat: 33-71 (7) - way under
Protein: 37-159 (44) - within budget

Has anyone else ever used this site? If so, what do yall think about it? :)

Day #31
Well, today has been a great day...TOM decided to drop in for a visit - unannounced. Yay. But, that's great that it's here because I definitley haven't had my monthly since the beginning of November. Yes, it's unhealthy, I know. I haven't been regular since the day I started my damn period - on my 12th birthday...I was in 6th grade. It was a horrid affair. I hate to think about it.

So, since TOM is here...I do suppose that I will probably get all bloaty and won't be able to stop going #2. Yes, #2. Too much info, I know...Sorry. I'm feeling a little bit - um - cranky right now. With that said - I'll probably gain some more of the f'ing weight that I'm trying to lose.

Good news is...this morning I was down a bit. 275.4 :) It's good to see it going back down! As far as I'm concerned it can keep on going & then stop when I've finally gotten myself into at least a size 12 in jeans. Then, we'll continue to gradually work our way down from there! lol *sigh* I can't even remember the last time I wore a size 12! ...I haven't been below a size 18 since like 7th grade...or was is 6th? No, I think I was a 16 in 6th grade...So, 12 must have been at least 2nd grade! LMAO

Haha. Just kidding...I was actually a fairly thin child. It was about 4th grade when I balooned...very quickly I might add. It's been going uphill ever since.

So, yes, sometimes I do skip meals. But, not because I'm trying to starve myself, because I'm not. I mean, do I look like I'm starving? I weigh 275ish pounds for petesake! LOL ^.^ I mostly skip meals because I either a.) sleep through breakfast or b.) I'm not hungry or c.) looking at the food makes me sick to my stomach. I can't force myself to eat if I'm not hungry -- well, unless I'm depressed and with that being the case lately -- I've gained some weight. Anywho...Sometimes, I'm hungry, but whenever I look at food it just makes me want to vomit, so I don't eat.

I thank everyone for their support and concern. :) I just wanted to make everyone aware that I wasn't skipping meals for the purpose of saving calories. Sometimes I don't eat, just because I can't stand to look at the food. Sometimes I think it's a mental dysfunction, but I do feel the physical pain of nausea. :-/
