Update from last week: Weigh-In 266.6 Loss 0.2 BMI 44.4

This weeks update: Weigh-In 264.4 Loss 2.2 BMI 44.0

It was definitely a successful week! I met my first goal weight 265 -- Well, I'm actually below there now! Next goal weight is 245! I haven't been under 250 since...I can't even remember when! I'm putting my goal weights in 20 lb increments.

Truthfully, I haven't been doing all that well on the exercising front. I'm still finding it really hard to get myself motivated. I guess I'm just not passionate enough about it, huh? I lack the drive that I need. What keeps you going?

On the low-carb front. Oh, it's been pretty non-exsistant. It's way hard. Again, I need motivation and control. Control.

No one ever reads this anymore. I don't even know why I post here. Maybe that's why I slacked off and didn't even update last week. Yeah, it is.

Oh well....I must go now. I have to get ready for work.
Loves to you all!

Today's weigh-in: 266.8! I relost the 0.2 I gained last week and also managed to lose 2.4 more! This has definitely been a good week!!!! Espeically since I've been getting in some exercise. 15 minutes on the elliptical and 30 on treadmill. I'm starting out slow -- I don't want to over do it. It works for me.

Hubby has also been watching what he eats and exercising. He managed to loose 7 lb this week! And, he's been getting outside his box and eating fruits and veggies! I'm so proud of him! :)

I've been doing a lot of looking and searching through Google about Insulin Resistance. I've been searching for information on an Insulin Resistance Diet, but I haven't had much luck. Then, Saturday I came a cross a Theraputic Diet for Insulin Resistance. This diet suggests low-carb, mod-protein and mod-fat. It focuses on whole foods instead of refined.

So, it looks like I'll be going low-carb for awhile. And, I'm ok with that. I know that low-carb isn't viewed as healthy because of all of the fat and red meat, but I'll have you know that I very rarely eat any type of red meat, I love veggies and I try to avoid fatty foods at all costs. Since taking Metformin I can't eat greasy/fatty-type foods or a lot of sugary foods...It makes me very, very sick!

Meal Plan for the day:

B: 2 slices bacon, 2 eggs (2 carbs)
L: 8oz chicken breast, 1 cup green beans (4 carbs)
D:
Totals:

I will update as I eat, I suppose.

Hope everyone had a good weight-loss week! :)
