Weigh-In: 258.6 lbs
Change: -2.4 lbs
BMI: 43.0
Change: -0.4 pt
Total lbs lost: 26.4

Only 13.6 more pounds to go until I reach my next goal weight! 245 here I come.

Anywhoo -- the LC when well last week. I didn't have much craving for bread/pasta/sugar. I'm not much of a sweets kinda gal anyway. I'm not saying that I didn't eat any "bad" carbs because I totally did, but I don't feel guilty because I didn't over eat the bad stuff. I took extra of the "good" carbs instead and just ate a little of the "bad." It makes sense to me, so if it doen't make sense to you -- sorry.

Overall, I am very pleased with this past weeks results. :) On to week 2 we go!!

In other news--medical news--the progesterone has done its job and AF fully kicked in this morning. So, CD 3-7 I'll be taking 100mg of Clomid per day and following that with a 'script of 6mg of Estrogen per day on CD 8-12. Hopefully I'll O this month and Hubby and I can get on our way with extending our family.

I really hope this works. I know it may not work the first time, but for some reason I'm feeling really positive about this situation. Normally I'm not a positive person. So, I think this is a good thing. :)

Hope everyone had a great week last week! And, here's to a good one this week! :)

Week #1 -- Day #5
Anybody ever heard of the "Ziploc Omelette"? I recently saw this on Rachael Ray's talk show & thought it was pretty neat. Although, I never thought I'd actually use this recipe for myself! So, I was hungry and bored this morning (Hubby is working 1st shift instead of 2nd...not used to being home alone!) so I thought I'd give it a try.

It was amazing! So yummy! The imbedded video show the use of a gallon-sized baggie whereas I used a quart-size and I also used 3 eggs instead of 2(because I'm lc'ing it & I can do what I want! LOL). The "omelette" came out about the size of a Hot Pocket...and it's funny because it was sort of like an egg Hot Pocket. There was an outer layer of egg with all the yummy cheese and onion on the inside!

I give this recipe a big thumbs up! I'm pretty sure you could make the baggies up ahead of time (like the night before, but I wouldn't make too many up just in case the go bad, but I think a day or two in the fridge won't kill ya!). Here's the recipe:

ZIPLOC OMELETS

- Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the gallon/quart size Ziploc bag shake to combine them.
- Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheese, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, salsa, etc.
- Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up.
- Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. For more, make another pot of boiling water.
- Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed.

Enjoy!

An update from yesterday's doctor's appointment.

Doctor didn't have too much to say other than he doesn't know why the Met didn't work for me as in getting my pd back. The nurse gave me a shot in the hip of Progesterone, so within a week I should start my period. Then starting of CD3 I am starting a round of Clomid followed by some Estrogen pills. I'm really hoping for a BFP Hehe. But, I know that it may not happen that quickly. *sigh*

So, if after this progesterone induced period I don't get a BFP I'm suppose to go in to have a "Clomid Check" to see how the Clomid helped/reacted w/ my body. He said that if the Clomid doesn't work this time he wants to do OPK's. But, if I'm not O'ing on the Clomid then I'm definitely NOT O'ing by myself!

I just hope that after this jumpstarted period that it starts to come normally. That would be like Heaven(well, not quite, but y'know! LOL). Most women say they would give anything to get rid of their pd, but I would give anything to HAVE mine! Just so that I can feel more like a woman and normal.

I'm sure yall will be hearing more about this...So, be prepared!!!!! :) LOL

Week #1 -- Day #3
Well, I can definitely say that I've gotten quite a few encouraging emails and comments! Thanks to Jimmy Moore from Livin' La Vida Low-Carb. He wrote an "article" about me on his site in which you can view here. I must say that I did take offense to a few parts of it, but then again I take offense when people try to give me compliments. To me it's like they're mocking me or making fun. After having Hubby read the article he reassured me that Mr. Moore wasn't mocking me or poking fun. I guess when people try to reach out and help I tend to put up walls and automatically assume they're out to get me.

All in all, I would just like to say thank-you to everyone who has sent me messages/comments of encouragement! It really means something. And, a special thank-you to Mr. Moore for taking the time to take a gander into my life and write something about me.

Yesterday was a pretty good day diet-wise. Didn't eat too much so in the evening I grabbed a 10-oz 100% Apple Juice and a banana. I know, sugar! sugar! but I figured this would be a better choice than a pastry. Natural sugars vs refined sugars? Um, I'll take the banana thanks.

Well, I'm off to finish getting ready for my doctor's appointment. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Week #1 -- Day #2
Yesterday wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Although, I was tempted by bread and potato chips at work. You see, as I have mentioned before, I work at a coffee shop. We serve food at the shop, but it's all horrible for you! Ugh. The healthiest thing on the menu would be a salad, but salads just get boring. I'm thinking I'll have to start packing my dinner. Why not though...I can pack a way tastier meal than what I can find at the coffee shop.

I slept in late today *oops* so, I don't have time to fix anything for lunch(Hubby and I work a 2nd shift schedule). So, I just warmed up a couple of left over chicken breasts. They're kind dry, but work for what I need. LOL!

When I go grocery shopping tomorrow I'm getting some Multi-Grain Flat Out Bread. With only 8 net carbs, I can totally eat them! :) Plus, they're very yummy! I've made breakfast "burrito" wraps (scrambled egg, bacon, cheese, taco sauce) with them and OMG! they're scrumptious! Hehe. Plus, they're sort of like bread, so it's kind of like an illusion to fool your mind!!!!!

I have my Dr. appt tomorrow. Getting nervous...As I always do! I really hope he doesn't want to do anymore blood tests! Ugh...I hate needles! But, I usually do ok. I'm sure I'll have plenty to update about tomorrow.

Well, this is all for now.
Have a good day!

Ok, so here's the scoop on the weight loss.

Weigh-In: 261.0 lbs
A Gain of: 0.8 lbs
BMI: 43.4
Change: 0.1 pt up
Total lbs lost: 24.0

I am stuck. I keep hovering a lb or two above and below 260. Ugh. I hate being stuck. I just want to get over this bump in the road and be gone with it.

Today I restarted my low carbness. So far so good, but I've only been up for 3 hours! LOL Also, cutting out the soda intake. I want to nix it from my life totally, but I love Diet Cherry Coke/Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi. Um, if it's diet and cherry cola -- I want to drink it!!! lol I haven't had any soda since Saturday. :)

Health update: Still no show of AF. It's been almost 4 months again since I had a cycle. I made a Dr appointment & I go in on this Wednesday (13th). So, we'll see what the Dr has to say...I'll keep you posted about that.

Well, I guess this is all for now.
Have a good day!

A little late, but what's new?

Yesterday's weigh-in: 260.2lb ...a loss of 3.4lb for the week! AMAZING number for once! I feel good about that :)

BMI dropped 0.6 pt to 43.3! An over all drop of 4.2 pt since I started this weight loss journey.

Not so happy with myself health wise...My body is still acting all screwy. One day I'll be fine and then sicker than a dog the next (for no apparent reason at all). I need to call my Dr & set up an appointment, but I keep putting it off. I don't know how much more disappointment I can take...

That is all for now. I'll try to update more often.
